This emergency was called today to discuss and vote on The shire of the Golden Plains removing our park from the Kingdom of the Golden Plains to become a free hold.
There was ALOT of discussion over this which i did not transcribe. This decision is not made lightly nor without thought.
the Motion to remove the Golden plains Park from the Golden Plains Kingdom:
For: 7
Against: 1
Abstain: 1
With a majority vote for, the Shire of the Golden Plains is now the Golden Plains Freehold.
It was discussed as to which kingdom we would petition and then tabled to allow time for the Freehold of the Golden Plains to discuss entrance with these kingdoms and to discuss amongst ourselves the pros and cons of each kingdom.
Due to work constraints Calwyn has stepped down as regent and Callandra was voted in as regent (7 for)
Park PM elections will be held at our park's regularly scheduled Allthing next weekend.
The park has decided as a whole to retain our rights to the name "Golden Plains" as that name belonged to this specific park (since 1987) before it split from Emerald Hills to become its own kingdom (in 1993).
