Abilene had our first park meetup on Saturday, March 9th, from 2:00pm - 5:30pm. Our sign in sheet held 15 signatures, and waivers, which I took a phone pic of:

We still have a lot to do: pick out a name, officials, etc.
I am attempting to get ahead of the game, so I downloaded a copy of the GP Corpora 3.0, and I'm currently attempting to read through it in order to establish the park. According to conversations on the Facebook page for Golden Plains, we are closer to the Kingdom seat of GP than Emerald Hills by 40 miles. I am still unsure if that means we have to petition GP or if we should become a freehold first, etc.
Personally, I think it would be awesome to petition one kingdom for shire status and then throw an inaugural field Inter Kingdom Event where the other kingdom could show up and fight for the field ( for fluff).
