Returning to Amarillo Loadric aka Roan

Hello everyone My name is Aaron aka Loadric Aka Roan.. Any way i had a stent were i wanted to get back into Amtguard real bad but decided to go to sca instead had a blast with it and did very well. I ended up moving to flagstaff Arizona and wasnt able to find any kind of group. While in sca i had my hand shattered my shoulder dislocated and other things lol so i want to get back into my fantasy roots and see how the Amtguard family is holding up i am going to bring alot of knowledge and fun to the group i have tons of armor and leather and other things but am lacking in any weapons as it has been forever since i have played. Just was wanting to let everyone know of my interest and see how the group was going and if everyone actually meets up would love to get in touch with anyone willing to help an old player be a noobie again thx and well met.

Hello Roan. This is Wretch from Nine Willows (in Midland). A lot has changed since you were here last, so I'll try to catch you up. Apologies in advance if this is already common knowledge to you.

The majority of the populace of the Kingdom of Golden Plains chose for the Kingdom to become a floating crown in 2010, meaning that their were no longer any set crown lands and the crown is voted on among the entire dues paid Kingdom populace. After this, Golden Plains Proper (the Amarillo field) chose to demote themselves to a Shire (the smallest land size in a Kingdom). In 2011 the Amarillo park chose to secede from the Kingdom, becoming a Freehold and then later a Shire under the Kingdom of the Burning Lands in El Paso. So that leaves us today with two Golden Plains, the shire located in Amarillo proper and the Kingdom itself (consisting of Canyon, Lubbock, Hobbs, Midland, Abilene, and Portales). This forum is for the Kingdom, but we mostly conduct most of our business on facebook these days. Evermore Hollow meets every Saturday in Canyon, TX, and quite a few members of its populace live in Amarillo. Here's a link to their facebook group.
