Kingdom February Attendance Initiative:

People of the Golden Plains, February is generally a lower attendance month throughout the Kingdom as we are still hibernating, as a people, through the winter. This year though we are going to try something different. Let’s see what happens if we get out and play Amtgard in February. Brush the snow and dust off of your weapons, bundle yourselves, those that are able, and take to the battlefields of the Golden Plains. I, as your King, want to see you guys hitting people with foam and having a great time doing it.

As such the combined Monarchies of the Kingdom of the Golden Plains would like to encourage all of you to come out and play in February. To reward those of you who are faithful we will be offering two incentives to all of the players of the seven lands of GP.

Credit Bonus – Depending on how many weekends you are able to come out and play Amtgard in February you will receive a credit bonus. Here are the rules and the rewards:

1. You must attend a normal field day, Saturday or Sunday, in any of the seven chapters of GP.
2. You are required to tell your local PM of any traveled lands you go to so that they have the info.

That’s it. Come out and play anywhere in the Kingdom that you like. Any of our fields. In return here’s what you get.

1 Park Attendance = Normal Class credit given
2 Park Attendances = Normal Class credits for playing twice +1 bonus credit
3 Park Attendances = Normal Class credits for playing three times +2 bonus credits
4 Park Attendances = Normal Class credits for playing four times + 4 bonus credits

So if you are playing locally and you attend the entire month at the end of the month you will have earned double credit each weekend for the month. If you play locally three weeks of the month, you will earn a total of five credits for your attendances. If you are a traveler, you can earn a total of twelve credits for the month if you travel each weekend. Your destiny is yours as you can commit to as much or as little as you like. A final note on this, the Local PM’s will not be adding any extra credits till the end of February. That way it can all be done at one time. This will also help in the second incentive to be offered.

Kingdom Mystery Raffle – Working hand in hand with the credit initiative you will also have an opportunity to have your name thrown into a mystery raffle which will happen at the end of the month. Here are the specifics.

For each extra credit you earn from the “Credit Bonus” initiative, your name will be placed one time into the raffle. So if you attend the entire month of February, you will receive 4 entries into the raffle. You may also gain additional entries in the following method.

1. Bring out both veterans who have not been out in at least 3 months or new people. Each person who meets the criteria and tells the local PM that they came out that day because of you will gain you an extra entry. So if 2 veterans who have not been seen in a while and a newbie and they all tell the local PM that they came to Amtgard that day because of you, you will get an additional entry. NOTE: Each person may only be used 1 time for extra entries.

This will be a great month for us all. I hope to see all of you roaming the Kingdom swinging foam, roleplaying, and making fun items. Remember, Amtgard tends to be more fun when more people are out playing the game. So get out, stretch your legs, hit your parks and enjoy time playing the game that we all love.
