I hope this does not piss anyone off but I as Captain have invoked my right and invited in some amazing people here in California. None have accepted yet but I have asked them to consider us. Our current system of getting everyone's approval is too ponderous with our spread all over the country. As such I am Promoting Arminius to Seargeant and as Lieutenant Ren is already in place, I think that the officers are in place and have all of our trust so going forward should have the power to induct members with a simple courtesy "here is this person look at what they do." Each of them have people they can sound candidates off of.

We had a great weekend. The Falcon's Reach Marauders(Page Shadobi, Page Guyvas, Sir Nakita and Myself) traveled 5 hours south to play at Seven Sleeping Dragons quest day on Saturday and received the news that Siar Geata members Milan of Amber and Tweak had accepted my invitation into The Marauders, With LAG's acceptance on Thursday of this week that puts a strong 3 core members in The southernmost California Amtgard group and brings to a total 7 California Marauders. Milan has been in Several years and is a very strong Sword and Shield fighter and has 6th Bard, Healer and Monster. He is very integral in the San Diego's group participation in several renfaires for recruiting purposes each year. Tweak is a very accomplished shot with a bow and also an above average melee fighter. She is 6th scout and currently she is Regent of Siar Geata. LAG is another trueshot and is mostly a bowmen. He is a high level archer and being a former SCA player he has strong ideas on honor and service to the Club. He currently runs Siar Geata's website and has a great household he is the Lord of.

Glad to hear that things are progressing over there. I agree that getting all members' opinions is a bit ponderous on a national scale, and a bit silly when you consider the fact that we Texans have never laid eyes on your California friends. We'll have to trust your judgement, as you trusted mine when I brought in Thor. Hope things continue to go well.

the difference is I knew Thor and thought he was a great guy too. How are things going? Is Thor coming out again? I am making Tabbards with our new lion on them. Would any of you three (Sir Ren, Baron Gom or Thor) Like one? also I am doing rounders for the new folk do any of you need replacements?
