This is the good stuff that we have been waiting patiently for!
Obviously, these rules are official and go into play immediately.

The only exception to this is for this weekend and it's only due to no time to print rulebooks for everyone. So...This weekend is optional (you may use either 7.2 or 7.5 legally) but next weekend is mandatory 7.5 usage (7.2 will be illegal for use).

Please read through the new rules thoroughly because there are a slew of new changes and effects. ***Please be advised that there may be minor errors that were unintended in this version. I implore you not to make 1000 copies until we're reasonably satisfied that they are finished. Please make a copy for yourself, read it, and help us find the bugs (if there are any). If you have any issues, please feel free to post them here where we can sort them and address them. Otherwise, feel free to direct all hatred towards either myself or towards our Rules Rep. Sir Ren.

(The offer for the directing of hatred does not apply to Nevon and his weenie whining about Wizard. =) )

We have the rulebook available in .doc format, now. I'll be releasing that on request once any errors are cleaned out for you guys that like to do weird formatting side projects with the rulebook. Bear in mind that if you start editing the rulebook you're likely to get a nasty letter, but if you're just trying to put it into a different format you're likely to get encouragement.

It has been my pleasure to work on the rulebook and to help it get to where it is now. I am even more pleased to be seeing it change from the purview of just a few men to an open and transparent process managed by the people of Amtgard with an equal voice for all groups.

I would also like to take a second to thank Kurse and Randall, without whom none of the things that have happened over the past couple of years would have been possible. It truly has been a labor of love for all three of us. We have a lot of plans for the future of Amtgard, and I hope you are all as excited about them as I am. We have been in a period of unparalleled improvement in the organization and quality of our society and I hope that, together, we can all push forward into an even brighter future.

meh i may complain alot about wizard hehe but i would still like to thank all the people who helped create and edit the rulebook. these people spent alot of time and effort on making this a great game and it really is a job worth noting and i appreciate the effort put forth. thanks everyone for doing your part to make amtgard better and better every day.

if i have a chance i'll try to get my own copy printed off and have it out on the field sunday for people to browse threw..

new Spell sheets... Healer acctually being beneficial for the whole team not just 1 person at a time..

wizards nerf.. and assassin's perlifes.. whoot..

just some of the stuff off the top of my head.. Archers no longer HAVE to have a bow for garb requirements.. assassins dont have to have Masks.. ummm Scouts i htink stayed the same..

in order to get Dmg bonus for bows as an Archer you need a Purple strip tied to it... (i'm going to spray paint mine

)..

if any of the Prime Ministers would like a copy of the rule book on disc, just message me with the proper info and i well get one sent to you. i had copies on me at the Tri-coronation but only 2 were given out since there where only 2 other parks PM's that needed it.

so far it all looks pretty clean cut......hope to see more of yall on the fields!!!

Please don't burn any discs until Friday night at the earliest. This will allow us to get the few errors in the rulebook corrected and get a few consistencies ironed out. A bonus for waiting until Friday is the updated version of GP Corpora will be out as well. It's like Christmas in uh, December...or something.=)

Also, the above link has been ninja-changed by yours truly. The latest bug-free version is now current as of 12/08. I anticipate that this will be the final version as I cannot find any of the previous errors as before.

As usual, please download and look it over. Let us know if you find any errors. If you print it before Friday, please direct your hate elsewhere (ie. You've been warned).

Last, 7.5 is official and in play. Please abide by the rules without addition, deletion, or modification.

....ummm....little late on that....but will let Akkir and Dark Oasis Prime Minister know to rewrite over the copy that i handed them on last Saturday....Ooopps!!!
