ROCKIN’ REIGN ALTHING MINUTES - 8-15-10

1. Irongate Labyrinth at the Corn Maize is set for the weekend of 12-5-10 per OVM.


2. Amtgard Foodfight was discussed. We chose to roll it into #3.


3. Rockin’ Regent Sage brought up multiple options for the location of Irongate’s Midreign. The populace was given choices and came to decide to keep it local with tables and chairs brought by the populace.

a. IG Midreign will be held at Maxey Park (our regular location) on Sunday 9-19-10. Fee for entry will be canned goods or donations to IG’s Amtgard Foodfight fund (see Events thread for Foodfight details).

b. Many members offered to bring their best eats or grills or drinks… and of course they did cause the IG field ROCKS. More to come as folks chime in.

c. IG’s Rockin’ Monarchy will be cooking for all as well.

d. For our midreign we will host a battlegame where you will pay for the use of your weapons or spell lists (with some interesting twists) with canned goods or donations.


4. Waiting for more info to finalize the Monday in the upcoming weeks for the Boyscout demo.


5. Pagan Pride will occur at Clapp Park on 9-25-10 (Saturday)


6. SW Corner of Clapp Park (off the s-shaped street after the Garden Center) continues to be the location for fighter practice for the next month—Wednesday’s at 6:30.


7. ON THE BURNER:

a. Memory Walk Planned for October 2.

b. The Homecoming Parade for TTU (11/6); we are waiting for callbacks with details when TTU starts ramping up next month.
