TriState Fair & Rodeo Parade

Just a quick reminder that on the 18th of this month at 10am is the Parade that I would love to see us walk in......I would like to know how many of us will be able to do this as soon as possible please!!!

i will try my hardest to be there! i think a few canyon kids wanna do this so i will see about getting them rides. though, by now they probably have their own ride. heh

here is what i have been told:
meet up at 830am at 12th and Polk in Downtown Amarillo!!!!
Of course you are welcome to walk in the parade with us!!!! please have on nice garb and good amtgard weapons with you.....also definately wear good walking shoes as i have no friggin clue how long we will be walking!!!

so yeah! come one come all to the Tri State Parade in Downtown Amarillo this Saturday!!! Participants need to be there by 9am at the latest if you want to walk with us!!!Hope to have a great turnout!!!

and any out of towner's that want to come in on Friday nite and stay up here in Amarillo, just let me know and i will try to arrange you a place to stay for the nite!

I have tons of space for people to stay in. Any suggestions on garb for those not going the belly-dancer clothing route?

so long as the garb is amtgardian and isnt ratty looking then go for it!!! just keep in mind that the walk is a bit long....being as i havent walked it before i dont know how long it will be so make sure to wear comfy shoes!!!

i used to march in the high school band and it most likely wont be any more than an hour...i could be wrong. it has been almost 3 years since ive even seen the parade hehe but i would suggest walking shoes as well unless you are just going to stay on the float.

for all that are walking with us in the parade please be there between 830 and 9am so that we can get us all suited up and all that!!!!

A HUGE THANK YOU!!!! To all that walked with us in the Tri State Parade this year!!! It was fantastic to see the reactions that we recieved this year and hope to get an even better one next year!!!
