I think the point is that RESPECT goes both ways. We have done everything in our power to handle this thing with respect and we were told that it would be taken care of by many people on that park. Here we are, 2 days past the deadline, we have no records from Nine willows. We have Iggy accusing us of not caring, when we have reminded, called, traveled, and had other people remind those in charge of Nine willows that it is a serious request. What should we do now? Should we just let you guys slide AGAIN? Because you dont think we care, or should we be responsible and hold you to the same standard that we held DO to? The fact is that it is incredibly disrespectful for a barony to disregard a KINGDOM's request. Would you ignore your boss if they required a report by a certain date? At my job you wouldn't last long, so I have no sympathy for this situation.

And if no one is held accountable, nothing changes. Everything stays the same, and no progress is made. I made it very clear what the reprucussions would be when I was there in April. I'm sorry that you thought that we were not serious, but I was. There is no need for the blame game, because it does no good. If you knew the monarchy was incapaple of fulfilling this SIMPLE request, then you should replace said monarchy. The kingdom does NOT want to loose NW as a part of our kingdom, and we have made it very clear that is not our intent. Does that mean that we can hold NW to a different standard than our other groups, certainly not. The old saying goes you made this bed......

first 5 years my Fat white ass Bitch when I was the PM the records were turned in on time and that was not 5 yrs ago. Not only did I get them in on time I got them in as asked in duplicate. I also straightened the damn mess out on my own. So if you are going to make a statement get the F***ng facts right

Comparison's between Amtgard and a business is Still the same.. you even gave examples of other ways we're paid by promotions and other stuff that makes amtgard a business.. a Comparison doesn't have to be 100% accurate to still be true.. Just because you dont like what has been said about the way your management has run your local business doesn't mean you have to fight the fact that its still can be Considered a business by the rest of us....(Your Fields Tax's giving to the kingdom is still paying taxes as well just not to the federal Govt.)

Dark Oasis was the major Factor in that 5 year sted and i only used 5years because its a nice round number i'm sure Dark oasis hasn't had their records straight for more than that.... Maybe you should take a nap and reread then comment on that part again.. I'll wait....................

Lets see if this can get settled out heres some info that's might be usefull. I skipped alot of the last post but the one I stopped on was Bear saying what are we supposed to do with no power.
First off just because you don't hold a position doesn't mean you don't have power. In the copora there are guidelines to removing an officer that is not doing there job, and I'm sure in that situation Kingdom will back you, trust me I've been through it before. Nobody has sole power and is exclude from this not even the King at the time, the power is in the hands of the people that give a shit and get off there asses and do it.
Doughboy said that Tako was avoiding everyone and not turning in the records, well we are a nonprofit group and that is considered stealing. You can get the law to his house, you can press charges, you can get your records back, unless they get destroyed, in which case there is still actions that can be takin.
No one person on your field is totally responsible for what happened, everyone is. For those of you that at least tryed to get it fixed I applaud you for it, those of you that tried nothing, you obviously don't really care. I know who I've talked to about it wether in person or over the phone many of times, and from everything I've heard some of those people really don't give a fuck with what happens. As a member of NW it is everyone's responsibility to make sure the group runs well, and makes sure that what needs to get done gets done.

As for the punishment.
You can't vote in a kingdom althings or elections.
well your records have to be turned into kingdom to be able to do that anyways, and they weren't. So since nothing has changed it's not really anything that affects ya'll..
Your Knights can't vote in the COK.
again if kingdom doesn't have your records they can't vote anyways.
so again nothing changed
Nobody can be knighted.
If you had any prospects that sucks for them. but if nobody is even close to it then, again nothing changed.
You have to get kingdom approval on any awards to be handed out.
Well at least now kingdom will know who to look at on your field to be recognized. So this is actually a real big bonus.
So in the long run ya'll are stuck going 1 more year of doing the same stuff that ya'll have been doing for the last 2 or 3 years. If these things are something that you were really looking forward to doing, the work together, and I don't just mean monarchy I mean EVERYONE, and fix the problems to fix your field.

I haven't been playing as long as you guys and I've never been a PM or a monarch or anything else of importance, so I think I see this in a less biased manner than most of you. Obviously real life interferes, which is one reason I don't run for office...my job has me traveling a lot and I know I wouldn't be able to devote the time needed to do a good job. But, this field is the last one to be audited. You guys have known for months that it was coming. I saw how Darken, Flint and Akkir busted ass to get our records in. That's part of the commitment you guys make when you run for office. If you can't do it, don't. Just play when you can and have fun.

Yup, all of that has been discussed by some of the members of the field. And honestly, the ones who are mad at the "punishment" don't really seem to get that nothing is really changing for us. I have no problem with it. Hopefully when we vote on officials either this week or the next, we get a PM that will really get stuff done. And honestly for me, this forum takes no fun away from me. I go tot he field to hang out with my friends and have a good time. Amtgard will always be fun for me no matter what.
