Hey all, I've been way WAY out of the loop regarding things Amtgard for almost two decades now, but I'm kind of coming back home to roost and have slowly been trying to catch up on some of the many changes that have taken place since 1990!
I'm getting second- and third-hand reports that there's some type of event going on in the Dallas area-- not necessarily EH, possibly in one of the surrounding areas-- in two weeks... I believe we're talking about the weekend of the 12th-14th. Can anybody confirm or deny? If the date is correct, is anybody from GP going-- and if so can a handful of us Tulsans pitch our tents with you guys? Got a few newbies who might be interested in making the trip, and I don't want them to feel like outsiders if I can help it.
Also is anybody aware of a single URL where we can get event info from all of the different kingdoms?
Thanks guys!

Event in Dallas Oct 12-14?
I've got a question...
The Shire of the Five Banners in Tulsa, OK, has been active for about a month now with an average of 3-5 members showing up weekly. We're a new group, just starting out-- haven't even heard back from the BOD regarding our contract yet.
Just for the sake of discussion, what would it take for us to park our little shire in the GP parking lot? I can't really make any formal requests on behalf of our Shire without presenting it to the entire group first, but I would like to gather a little information so that we can kick the idea around.
Let me know, I'll look forward to hearing back from everybody.
Thanks,
Maccalus
