There is a quicker way to the park but this way will bypass all the construction. From I-27 take the 34th street exit take a right on 34th st. or a left for all those coming from Nine willows. Follow 34th until you reach Quaker Ave. take another Right. you will see the Park on your right, go down to the light which is 24th St. and take it to the field.
DO come in on Brownfield Hwy until you reach Quaker take a right and you be at the same light as above directions.
and Heavens Abyss come in on Clovis Hwy until you reach Quaker take a left until the light on 24th st.

And if you could Sir Moonshadow please put a map for people to see. I would appreciate it.

Here are directions to Maxey Park (Irongate):
Map to Irongate

It's in the farthest Northeast corner of the park.
Does anyone need directions to Lubbock?

Also, I plan on running a couple of test runs (on both Saturday and Sunday) for a "300" themed Battlegame that I'm gonna unleash at Kingdom Midreign. It should be a fairly new and challenging game. Come check it out.

Thank you to everyone who came this weekend and made the event what we all hoped it would be. It was a wonderful park-warming, and a fantastic gathering all around. From the bottom of my heart, I will miss all of you truly.

Enough with the mush- *happy dance* I got my belt!!!!!! :D

Just to clarify a bit for those who didn't go. Sir Ashe (nice ring to it eh Ashe?) received her Flame Belt. She also received cool looking garb and just awesome gifts. Well anyway, a big congrats to Sir Ashe for achieving her knighthood. She has worked hard and is more than deserving of it.

As for the rest of the event, it wasn't such a bad turn out and the weather was very cooperative as well. I loved the 300 style battlegame that Sir Moonshadow hosted and, better yet, there was actually music at this event. Darken has an awesome looking drum. Well I don't guess it's my part to say this since i'm not in Lubbock anymore but still, thanks to all of those who came out to the park and had great attitudes about everything. This was a very successfull event and I hope we can have more events like this in future times.
