Nine Willows Althing Minutes 10/15/11

~~The Duchy of Nine Willows Althing Minutes for October 15th, 2011~~

Many thanks to Savage for taking down the minutes.

Item 1 - Weapon Master and Dragon Master were discussed. Weapon Master will consist of eight events: Single Sword, Dual Sword, True Florentine, Sword and Shield, Dagger, Great Weapon, Staff, and Polearm/Reach. Dragon Master will be allowing up to five Arts & Sciences entries per participant, with the top three counting toward their final score.

Item 2 - The populace of Nine Willows discussed recognizing the Artisan class within its borders. The Artisan class would be an alternative to Color when signing in for those who wish to take a more active approach in the Arts & Sciences. The establishment of this class would also lead to the formation of the Guild of Artisans, which would help teach and encourage A&S province wide to those willing. A vote was held among dues paid populace present.

The Artisan class is officially recognized within the borders of Nine Willows. An election was held for the first Guildmaster of Artisans. The nominees were Squire Chulainn Gallowglass and Sir Neorjin. Chulainn was elected! Congratulations!

Item 3 - Sir Wretch will be holding persona workshops for any populace old and new who would like to flesh out their persona histories. Wretch will be available for this anytime during normal Amtgard days and weeknights at the Shell Station at the corner of Wadley and Garfield between 3 and 10pm.

Item 4 - Discussion on holding a provincial Bardic were held. Anyone who wished to dance, drum, sing, storytell, etc. were encouraged to consider participating to entertain the monarchy. More details to come.

Item 5 - Nine Willows will be establishing a zone specifically for the purposes of persona and roleplay. This zone will be roped off and populace should not enter the area unless in persona/roleplaying. This area can be used for storyline/quest progression, persona roleplay, and more!

Item 6 - Tako and Squire Snow have established an Amtgard Supporters Club at Midland College. This club will promote Amtgard on campus and encourage recruitment among the student body. Discussion and a vote were held to hold a fighter practice at the campus on Mondays.
