When: June 8,9,10
Where: Old Florey Park
Cost: $5 per tent/night fee and a $10 gate fee

Come join us as we celebrate Nine Willows 10 years anniversary of becoming a barony and Kingdoms Mid-reign.

This is the schedule that we have so far:
1.Friday night we are planning on a Jugging Tourney (more details later).
2.Early Saturday, there will be Dragon Master (I will post all the details in the next few days).
3.Also Vahmous is hoping to be able to collect enough wood to make a castle and maybe a wagon, so plan on an epic battle game from Sir Renity Saturday afternoon.
4.Then Saturday evening we will have feast (Vahmous and/or Saint Toby will post the menu soon).
5.After feast will be court and a bardic for anyone staying the night at the camp site.)

Once I have had the chance to talk to everyone invovled, I will post more exact times. I hope to see each and everyone of you there.

Here is the first of several updates, the jugging rules:

The rules of play that we will be using can be found here: http://nizari.webs.com/apps/documents/documents, third link from the top.

Each team that wishes to enter the tourney will have to pay a $10 entry fee, with all the money going towards the 1st and 2nd place prizes. The teams will decide which subgroup they are fightng for (Evermore Hollow, Nine Willows, Dark Oasis, Iron Gate, or Darkwater Hollow). The team that wins 1st place will receive 60% of the cash collected to give to the subgroup it repersents and the 2nd place team gets the other 40% for its subgroup.

There can be more than one team per subgroup as long as each team pays the $10 entry fee.

We ask that each team (that is not fighting) have one of its members to help us with reeving the tournament.

If you have any questions, pleas contact me.

Here is the second update Dragon Master:

I will be using the Judge’s Companion (which can be downloaded from the Golden Plains Forums), with the following changes:

No more than 3 entries per category (i.e. court garb, fighting garb, poetry, weapon construction, etc.) and only your top 2 entries can count towards your score. The item is scored by the judges (3-5 depending on availibility). Then, 3.5 is subtracted from the item's score. The remainder (if it is positive) is added to your Dragon Master total. (i.e. if an item scores an average of 3.97, then you take 3.97-3.5 = .47, if the item averages a 3.2 then 3.2-3.5 = less than zero, score is ignored).

The person with the highest score wins. This allows both players with a narrow focus but exceptional skill and those with a wider focuse but perhaps not as much specific expertise to have a chance to win. "Flooding" is of limited value because the entry must score Better than Average and you are limited to the number of entries, so you can't turn in 12 items in the 1 category you excel.

If you have any additional questions about this or anything else going on at the event people contact me.

Nine Willows has chosen via Althing to hold our Duchy Midreign in June alongside Kingdom and Irongate instead of the Decadium. The focus should now be on all our great provinces and we're looking forward to traveling and seeing everyone.

In Service,

Overlord Sir Wretch

A slight change of plans. I will not be able to make it to the event site until late Friday evening, therefore we will be moving the jugging tourny to Saturday Morning at 9AM. Sorry for the late notice but my work wont let me off early and they just decided to tell me this yesterday.

Hope to see everyone there,

Hi everyone, as pseudo champion right now at Evermore Hollow I am looking find spots on a jugging teams for myself, and at least two other players. If anyone needs alternates, or has open spots on a team please let me know. Also if anyone would like to team up with us that would be amazing. We have all played before, and understand the rules.
