This is gonna be an awesome event filled with fun times and much fellowship. Who knew you could get both pirates AND ninjas in the same place? Choose a side and fight hard. Two factions enter, but only one will be standing in the wake of all the carnage. Let the battle begin!

What: Kingdom Coronation
When: Sept. 5-6 (Yes, this is a camping event!)
Price: $10 (Will be talked about more during the allthing this weekend.)
Theme: Pirates Vs. Ninjas
Time: 12PM Saturday - midnight Sunday (which I guess is actually 12AM monday morning lol)
As far as what is happening at the event, it is still in the works and will be completely finished before Clan. What I know now is that the big main battle will be held saturday in the Maize in which you do have to pick a side upon entering the event site. Court will be held Sunday afternoon and we are discussing hosting the first ever "Amtgard Iron Chef" Sunday as well. More details and events will be brought up and advertised here.
Remember, if you don't pay you don't play!!! I will be discussing a punishment for those who enter without paying and without a good excuse. We need to set a good example here. The owner of the Maize is going above and beyond to allow us to camp here.
I am going ahead and posting this info here since I won't be here Sunday to talk about it. Sanithia has this info as well and will have more details about the event at the allthing in my stead. Should you have any questions or any ideas for the event please feel free to call me at 806-477-9466

We can not change the date. This is the best weekend for the Maze folks to have us. The owner is allowing us to come in the week before he officially opens the maze to the public so we can have the entire place including all the ammenities of the site all to ourselves. Sorry for the inconvienience of the date.

Unfortunately labor day weekend is impossible for me to get off work, so I cannot go. I thought the event was going to be the next weekend, but that's how it goes. I'm sure it will be a great event anywhoo and I'm sorry I'll miss it. Maybe there will be a way to pull strings so I can make it to court, but It will have to be saturday night not sunday afternoon. I may be able to open Sat and close sunday so I'll have a small gap to be there. I'll get with nevon and let you guys know what is up as soon as I do.

Just a reminder that coronation is Sept. 5-6 at the corn maize in Lubbock, Tx. This is a camping event and their will be a bardic so bring ur music makers and lets have some fun, pirate vs. ninja style!
I can not stress this enough though. We have to pay before we enter the site. If you don't pay then you don't enter! Also, Bring some extra cash for the corn cannon and the auction. We will not be accepting IOU's nor will we be taking checks or cards. Bring some extra cash to enjoy the awesomely cool festivities.
Also, I would like to ask the populace of the kingdom from every park to try and help chip in some money for feast and for camping. Some water company involved with the corn maize has decided that they don't want to clear us for camping. Therefore, camping will be held just down the street at the KOA. This could be both good and bad for us. Good because the KOA, I have been told, will allow for moderate drinking (don't go clan crazy on us guys) and we might be able to get a group discount there. Bad because we were going to get our camping money back but since we have to camp at the KOA that wont happen so it could be a little bit more expensive. This is why I am asking for some donations from all the parks. Just a few bucks here and there could help out alot. Thanks for chipping in and helping make this event totally awesome!!!

It is a one day event. It is too costly to go to the koa so we are just going to do the 1 day event at the corn maze then do the irongate ironchef at irongates home field on sunday. If you want to come and stay for that I am sure their is plenty of crash space available i myself have tons. Also if anyone wants to come friday night i will have space then as well.

hey for those of you who dont know im sage and im darkens girl...we are having a baby that is expected in dec. ive thought a good idea for a silent auction for the corn maze would be to chose out little boys amtgard name whoever the highest bidder is gets to chose...but remember this will be for a baby so keep it clean and clear of bad words please...i just wanted to throw a heads up on this so dont forget your money

Event Feast and Kids Events
We are working on planning the feast and it would be great if we could get an estimated head count of who will be attending so no one goes hungry. If each field could post a head count, again does not have to be exact, just ballpark, we will be sure to make enough food to feed that many people.
Also, we are planning some fun events for the kiddies ages 4-12. There will be pirate and ninja themed events for the children. They get to choose a side and there are three events per faction. One is a construction/crafty activity, one is a scavenger hunt/battle and the last event is a training type activity. There are prizes and swag involved so a general head count of the children ages 4-12 who will be attending will be awesome so we can be sure to have enough. If you know the faction your child will choose, even better. I am making items and it would be nice to make the correct amount. One other thing, if you are planning on having your children attend, also plan on participating in the events with them or designating an adult who will.
If you could post your responses with head counts, I would greatly appreciate it. I would also appreciate it if representatives from each field could pass the word to those who do not use the forums and post that information as well.

If you bid on an item and win, you are expected to pay before feast and court begin. This is a cash only auction. Winners will be announced at court. All proceeds for the silent auction go to the fund for getting a lawyer for an Irongate player Drakor. If you have questions on this please contact Lady Renity or myself by private message.
Rules for the can tourney
It is either 2 cans of food or $1 to enter. All money and food collected will go to the Lubbock Food Bank. There are prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Contact Nevon for details.
We are also going to have the corn cannon going. There are 3 targets and each target has a live steel prize to coincide with it. It is 5 shots for $2. The winner for the target is the person who has the most hits on that target throughout the day. Winners will be announced at Court. Contact Draven for details.
For the kids stuff we request that a parent or someone representing the parent stays and helps the child(ren) participate in the events. The top Ninja and Pirate will receive either a Ninja outfit or a pirate outfit. Please contact Aryn for details.
There are many other things to do at the farm such as picking out pumpkins, cowtrain for the kids, and a hay ride. These cost between $.25 to $7. These things will be paid directly to the maze staff. I think I covered everything for saturday.
If you come into town Friday and want to camp there is a KOA 2 miles south of the corn maze and if you don't want to camp you can more than likely find crash space with the Lubbock Amtgarders.
